BlackCrate Co. Terms & Conditions

These terms outline how our rental service works and ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

  • Effective Date: 4/15/2026

    By booking and using services from BlackCrate Co. (“Company”), you (“Customer”) agree to the following terms:

    • Rental periods are defined at the time of booking.

    • Equipment must be available for pickup on the scheduled date.

    • Late returns may incur additional fees at the Company’s discretion.

    • Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

    • Customer authorizes BlackCrate Co. to charge the payment method on file for:

      • Rental fees

      • Late fees

      • Damage or loss fees

      • Additional service charges

    • A refundable security deposit may be placed on the Customer’s payment method.

    • Deposit will be released upon return and inspection of Equipment.

    • Deductions may be made for damage, loss, or late return.

  • Customer agrees to:

    • Use Equipment only for its intended purpose

    • Not overload crates beyond reasonable weight limits

    • Not expose Equipment to hazardous materials, extreme conditions, or misuse

    • Keep Equipment in their possession and control during the rental period

    • Customer must ensure clear and safe access for delivery and pickup.

    • Missed delivery/pickup due to Customer unavailability may result in additional fees.

    • Equipment left outside is at Customer’s risk once delivered.

  • Customer acknowledges and agrees:

    • Use of Equipment involves inherent risks including property damage or injury.

    • BlackCrate Co. is not responsible for:

      • Damage to personal property during packing, moving, or transport

      • Injuries sustained during use of Equipment

      • Improper stacking, loading, or securing of crates

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlackCrate Co.’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the rental service.

  • BlackCrate Co. does not participate in packing, loading, transport, or unloading. Customer assumes full responsibility for all activities involving the Equipment after delivery.

  • Customer agrees to return all Equipment in the same condition received, excluding normal wear and tear.

    Fees:

    • Damaged Crates: $15 per crate

    • Lost or Unreturned Crates: $25 per crate

    Final determination of damage is at the Company’s discretion.

  • Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BlackCrate Co., its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

    • Use or misuse of Equipment

    • Violation of this agreement

    • Injury or damage caused during the rental period

  • Cancellations:

    • More than 48 hours before delivery: Full refund

    • Within 48 hours: 50% refund

    • Same-day cancellation: No refund

    Rescheduling:

    • Allowed up to 24 hours before delivery at no charge

    • Subject to availability

    • Equipment not ready for pickup may result in:

      • Daily rental extension fees

      • Additional pickup charges

  • If BlackCrate Co. is unable to deliver or pick up Equipment due to:

    • Inaccessible location

    • Incorrect address

    • Customer absence

    Additional fees may apply.

  • BlackCrate Co. is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, natural disasters, or transportation issues.

  • By completing a booking, Customer confirms they have:

    • Read and understood this agreement

    • Agreed to all terms and conditions

    • Authorized all applicable charges

  • This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
